Berlin 14.05.08 - With a relief flight of the German Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) Johanniter have sent Medicine to Myanmar. One "Emergency Health Kit" for treating 30.000 patients and one Special-Kit to care for patients with malaria and water borne disease as well as dressing material arrived in Yangun. The kits will be delivered to a hospital in the Delta region.
On Tuesday the four headed German assessment team already purchased 250 kits with basic medication, which were distributed in cooperation with our partner organisation ADRA in Laputta, a hard hit city in the south of Myanmar.
